Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of hyperscale data center construction projects from preconstruction through turnover. This role manages schedule, budget, subcontractors, procurement, client relations, safety, and project execution while ensuring delivery of highly complex mission-critical facilities on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations for large-scale data center projects.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders.
- Lead subcontractor coordination and performance management.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with MEP teams, commissioning personnel, design consultants, and owners.
- Track procurement and long-lead equipment critical to project delivery.
- Lead owner meetings and provide project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Manage project documentation utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Support project closeout, commissioning, and turnover activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction.
- Experience managing MEP-intensive scopes preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and subcontractor management.
- Experience with hyperscale data centers, advanced technology, or mission-critical facilities highly desired.
- Ability to travel or relocate based on project needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
