Project Manager – PE
Martarano Engineering, Inc. (MEI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong electrical engineering background to join our growing team. MEI is a stable and expanding MEP consulting firm looking for professionals who are excited to advance their careers while helping guide our firm into the future.
Position Summary: The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution, from proposal development and scope definition through design, construction administration, and project completion. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with proven leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and teams.
Location: Wyomissing, Pennsylvania (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of project delivery, including proposal writing, scope development, design scope definition, scheduling, staff management, and construction administration.
Ensure successful project completion while maintaining quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
Lead and coordinate multiple projects across MEP/FP disciplines and diverse client portfolios.
Mentor, supervise, and support electrical engineering designers.
Oversee the design of lighting, power, and low-voltage systems.
Perform and review electrical load calculations and system layouts.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout design and construction.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and local building codes and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis.
Current Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, with project management experience strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, AutoCAD, Revit, and PDF editing software.
Experience with specification writing, including MasterSpec or similar specification programs.
Thorough understanding of applicable state and local building codes.
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $130,000 annually
