Description
Piedmont Healthcare seeks a Program Manager, Clinical Lab School to lead the development and daily operations of its clinical laboratory education program. In this role, you will design and refine curriculum, coordinate clinical rotations, and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. You will partner closely with lab leadership, academic institutions, and internal stakeholders to align training with workforce needs. Responsibilities include budgeting, data tracking, and reporting outcomes, as well as recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating instructors and students. You will champion Piedmont’s culture of respect, innovation, and patient-centered care while creating an inclusive, high-performing learning environment that supports professional growth for emerging clinical lab professionals.Oversee daily operations and strategic direction of the Clinical Lab School program
Design, implement, and continuously improve curriculum aligned with clinical lab standards and workforce needs
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., NAACLS, CLIA, CAP)
Coordinate clinical rotations and partnerships with internal labs and external academic or clinical partners
Manage program budget, resources, enrollment targets, and performance metrics
Recruit, develop, schedule, and evaluate instructors, preceptors, and support staff
Monitor student performance, provide guidance, and support progression, remediation, and completion outcomes
Use data to report program outcomes and recommend improvements to leadership
Collaborate with Piedmont leaders to align the program with organizational talent pipeline goals
Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, safety, and patient-centered care within all learning activities
