The Global Ad Technology Supervisory Department (GATD) manages the whole of the advertising systems that power Rakuten. We are a cross-functional and data-driven organization working together in a diverse team spread across five countries: Japan, Singapore, India, China and UK.

As a Senior Project Manager in PMO Group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management methodologies and frameworks, leading complex cross-functional projects and delivering knowledge sharing and best practices across project teams. You'll have the opportunity to mentor other members, contribute to the development of new PMO services, and work with a team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about achieving the goals and making continuous improvement.

We are seeking a PMO to lead and facilitate the planning, promotion, and ideation stages of common improvement initiatives for GATD, as well as strategic projects carried out in collaboration with multiple internal organizations and GATD.

In uncertain circumstances, understanding the thoughts of each complex stakeholder is crucial. The main responsibility of this role is to continuously identify the challenges and issues the team faces, propose approaches to reach the goals, involve the necessary stakeholders, lead, and facilitate steadily until the goals are achieved.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Proven track record in leading and facilitating project planning and ideation stages, particularly in complex stakeholder environments.

- Strong ability to manage pressure and handle multiple projects at once.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively in various project scenarios.

- Demonstrated ability to identify and propose solutions to challenges and issues faced by project teams.

- Experience in collaborating with multiple internal organizations and external partners to achieve project goals.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project objectives.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in the advertising industry or related fields.

- Advance Level Japanese.
