Description
We are seeking a seasoned Electromechanical Project Manager with over 10 years of hands-on experience in managing and delivering complex MEP projects across the Kingdom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle-from planning and execution to commissioning and handover-ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of electromechanical systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of MEP projects including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, MV/LV power, control systems, fire alarms, and elevators.
- Develop and manage overall and detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with shop drawings, technical specifications, and standards (SBC, NFPA, IEC).
- Review and approve shop drawings and coordination drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; ensure proper system integration and avoid execution conflicts.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and site execution teams for material submittals, procurement schedules, and site logistics.
- Track supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure delivery timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
- Prepare Power BI dashboards and progress reports; present to clients, consultants, and internal management during regular meetings.
- Participate in technical discussions, inspections, and problem resolution with stakeholders and authorities.
- Oversee the preparation and approval of payment certificates, variation orders, and cost control reports, in coordination with the QS and cost control departments.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, risk mitigation protocols, and quality control procedures on site.
- Lead and motivate a multinational project team, ensuring clarity in roles, timelines, and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale MEP projects, ideally within the Kingdom or GCC.
- Proven expertise in executing complex electromechanical systems across commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Power BI, MS Office.
- In-depth knowledge of SBC, NFPA, IEC, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience working with leading MEP or EPC contractors.
- Background in design-build or fast-track project environments.
- Knowledge of contractual and commercial aspects of project management.
