Job Description

Role: SaaS Project Manager

Location: Cologne, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, or Munich *(Hybrid work model)*

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SaaS Project Manager to lead end-to-end release and implementation processes for our enterprise SaaS platforms. This role involves coordinating across globally distributed teams, IT developers, internal subject matter experts (SMEs), and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery, continuous process improvements, and scalable ways of working. As part of our internal digital transformation team, you will drive efficiency, innovation, and alignment while optimizing workflows across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end release cycles for SaaS platforms, ensuring smooth deployments with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams, developers, internal SMEs, consultants, and business stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Facilitate and drive discussions to refine processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement best practices.
• Define and optimize ways of working (WoW) by establishing clear workflows, governance models, and communication frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing bottlenecks, implementing agile/scaled agile (SAFe) methodologies, and measuring impact.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, risks, and resources in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain clear documentation (e.g., Confluence, Jira) and ensure transparent communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SaaS project management, preferably with enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, CPQ, or similar).
• Strong background in release management, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working with internal SMEs, consultants, and technical teams to drive alignment and process improvements.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite, or similar PM tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe are a plus.
• 6+ years of project management experience, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based environments.
