Description
AufgabenAs a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and closure of offshore projects in the field of geophysical surveys (e.g., UXO and Seismic) and AUV technology. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and uphold the highest standards in quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead projects from the proposal phase through completion
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery
- Develop project schedules, plans, and resource requirements
- Manage documentation and change control processes
- Regularly report progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a key interface between departments (Engineering, Operations, QHSE, etc.) and external partners
- Ensure fulfillment of all contractual obligations
- Monitor and manage costs and budgets across project lifecycles
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Implement and oversee QHSE standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) in collaboration with the QHSE team
- Conduct or support safety briefings and offshore risk assessments
- Maintain strong communication with clients, authorities, and subcontractors
- Organize and lead project meetings and reporting routines
- Support contract and claim management efforts with the legal and tender team
Profil
- Minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience, preferably in offshore/maritime environments
- Demonstrated success in managing projects with complex stakeholder environments
- Familiarity with geophysical survey technologies (e.g., UXO, seismic) and AUV systems is an advantage
- Understanding of international regulations and standards (ISO, IMO, HSE)
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Degree in Engineering, Geophysics, Maritime Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Formal qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, IPMA) are highly desirable
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- Confident in using MS Office and Microsoft Teams
