OVERVIEW
The DX Senior Project Manager plays a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance client experience and support the continued growth of Parfums Christian Dior Japan, reporting to the Senior Manager, DX, LINE & Social.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into meaningful digital initiatives, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful outcomes and to offer better experience for the customer.
Acting as a bridge across the organization, the DX Senior Project Manager helps ensure that digital initiatives create tangible business value while elevating both customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX).
The role covers a broad range of initiatives, from agile, day-to-day digital enhancements to larger-scale transformation programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Transformation & Business Impact
- Partner with business teams to plan and drive DX initiatives that enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
- Execute digital initiatives aligned with the digital vision of Parfums Christian Dior and the LVMH Group.
- Define objectives, scope, and expected impact of digital initiatives, ensuring alignment among stakeholders.
- Establish KPIs and track performance to assess results and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Project Leadership
- Lead multiple DX initiatives across their full lifecycle, from planning and execution to post-launch optimization.
- Manage priorities, timelines, and issues to ensure steady progress of projects.
- Address challenges and changes proactively, working with stakeholders to identify practical and effective solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between business teams (Retail, Sales, CRM, E-Commerce), IT, and external partners.
- Balance business requirements with system and technical constraints to reach optimal solutions.
- Clearly communicate project status, key topics, and next steps to stakeholders and management.
Digital Experience & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to customer-facing digital initiatives across E-Commerce, CRM, LINE, and other omnichannel touchpoints.
- Support internal digitalization initiatives aimed at improving processes and ways of working.
- Maintain a user-centric mindset and continuously refine solutions based on feedback and insights.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading digital or DX initiatives, either in-house or within a digital agency, service provider, or consulting environment.
- Strong business mindset with the ability to understand commercial objectives and translate them into actionable digital initiatives; experience in Luxury, Retail, or Consumer Goods is a plus.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a practical and solution-oriented approach to decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills, with proven experience working across multiple internal teams and external partners.
- High level of curiosity and a genuine passion for digital transformation, emerging technologies, and evolving client experiences.
Professional Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience managing digital projects or programs end-to-end, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and delivery governance.
- Solid understanding of key digital solutions such as E-commerce platforms, CRM, Social CRM, and LINE-related tools or applications.
- Ability to bridge business strategy and digital execution, driving initiatives forward in a structured, realistic, and results-oriented manner.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms to manage progress and stakeholders effectively.
