Description
Our client, a leading Aerospace & Defense manufacturer, is implementing Epicor Kinetic in the GCC Cloud across three facilities (two in California and one in Colorado). They are seeking a hands-on Epicor Kinetic Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation and drive adoption across a high-precision, regulated manufacturing environment.This role requires strong leadership across Epicor Operations modules (Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, and Supply Chain), disciplined project task tracking, and the ability to partner effectively with both internal stakeholders and external implementation vendors. Knowledge of Epicor Financials is a strong plus, particularly in aligning Finance and Operations during deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle Epicor Kinetic implementation across all three manufacturing sites.
- Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project plans, task tracking, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide functional leadership across Epicor Operations modules, including Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations leaders to align Epicor configuration, reporting, and costing to business processes.
- Manage and coordinate the Epicor implementation partner, including scope oversight, deliverables, timelines, and issue escalation.
- Oversee data migration, system configuration, testing cycles (unit, integration, and UAT), cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
- Support and guide creation and validation of BAQs, BOMs, MOMs, and SQL-based reports as needed to support operations and reporting requirements.
- Deliver end-user training to approximately 100-120 users, driving adoption of standardized workflows and best practices.
- Lead change management efforts, influencing stakeholders to adopt new processes and system-driven ways of working.
- Coordinate closely with IT, department leads, and third-party vendors to maintain execution velocity.
- Support post-go-live stabilization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document workflows, SOPs, configuration decisions, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with Aerospace & Defense regulatory, quality, and audit requirements.
- Proven Epicor Kinetic Project Management experience, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong functional expertise in Epicor Operations modules: Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, and Supply Chain.
- Demonstrated ability to track and manage complex ERP project tasks, dependencies, and execution.
- Experience managing ERP implementation partners and vendors.
- Experience working in Aerospace & Defense manufacturing or similarly regulated industries.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in Ontario or Riverside, CA, with travel to Denver, CO as needed.
- Knowledge of Epicor Financials (GL, AP, AR, Costing).
- Ability to create and maintain BAQs, BOMs, MOMs, and SQL-based reports.
- Hands-on SQL experience for reporting, data validation, and troubleshooting.
- Epicor Kinetic GCC Cloud experience.
- Experience with Epicor Wireless Warehouse.
- Experience with QuickShip.
- Strong understanding of shop-floor execution, quality systems, inventory control, and end-to-end supply chain workflows.
- Full-time, 6-month contract with strong potential to convert to direct hire.
- Target start date: January 2026.
