Compensation Project Manager
Regular, Half-Time, Hybrid Job – Irvine, California (two days per week working in Irvine, California, office/three days per week remote)
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 Based on 20 Hours Per Week (Annualized)
ERI Economic Research Institute is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for a total rewards subject matter expert to support the organization in compensation consulting, training, and marketing for current and potential customers.
The role is hands-on managing a variety of projects utilizing your extensive compensation knowledge of pay practices and compensation structures plus excellent communication and presentation skills.
Scope of Responsibilities
Provides compensation consulting for ERI current and potential customers by developing compensation proposals and working with clients to design and develop compensation programs to meet their organization’s requirements.
Updates Distance Learning Center compensation and total rewards courses to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Identifies, designs and writes white papers and blog posts to educate and update current and potential customers in the field of compensation and total rewards.
Designs and presents compensation webinars as appropriate.
Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of current compensation practices, laws, and trends.
Requirements
Qualifications
Equivalent to a four-year college education in business, human resources management, accounting and/or finance.
An additional 7 to 8 years increasingly responsible broad compensation experience for a corporate headquarters of a multi-national/multi-state organization.
In-depth knowledge in the design and development of annual compensation programs, including compensation strategies, short-term incentive plans, market pricing, salary structure development, compa-ratio reports, and salary increase guidelines.
Knowledgeable of ERI Economic Research Institute and experienced in the use of its Assessors.
Subject matter expert in total rewards programs.
Prior background creating and facilitating compensation training programs.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to present compensation technologies to external customers.
