The Changemakers Program is a new initiative of Villanova's Department of Public Administration designed to strengthen nonprofit leadership capacity in the Philadelphia region. The program runs from June 2025 through May 2026, culminating in a 12-week pilot launch in Spring 2026.
The project manager will support faculty leads in coordinating the design, implementation, and launch of the program. This includes managing timelines, communicating with nonprofit partners, coordinating with coaches, and ensuring deliverables are met across program phases.

- Supporting faculty in reviewing and finalizing curriculum and assessment materials
- Coordinating recruitment efforts for coaches and program participants
- Liaising with nonprofit partners to identify and confirm program participants
- Monitoring project timelines and ensuring all program milestones are met
- Assisting with event planning for the Changemakers Summit at Villanova (Spring 2026)
- Preparing status updates and documentation for faculty and program stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Capacity and interest to learn skills in research, writing, and collaboration
- Professionalism when working with community partners, nonprofit leaders, and University officials
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with nonprofit organizations, community initiatives, or university-community partnerships, especially in a project coordination or administrative support role.
Experience using digital project management or collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Airtable, or Microsoft Teams) to track tasks, manage deadlines, and facilitate communication among multiple stakeholders.
